Skyler Baker created a food pantry at the Methodist Church for his Eagle Scout project. This project was thought of because Skyler wanted to do something for the Methodist church in Chatham as they were the sponsors of our troop at the time. Also, Skyler knew that the community needed a pantry because of the rising cost of living here on the Cape. The pantry was designed to fit lots of food to help many and is easily accessible due to it being outside the church so it can be accessed 24/7 365 days a year anonymously instead of the old one which was in the church basement that could only be accessed when the church was open.
